Since her school days, Urwa has been enthusiastic about performing and has found success in a very short amount of time. While still a senior in high school, she attended auditions for a show in Islamabad. Urwa was offered a job with the back staff. She initially made her entry into the showbiz industry in this manner. Urwa continued acting in shows after that, and a music program director noticed her while she was performing. So she moved to Karachi for the auditions, where she was hired as a VJ. After that, she began working in Pakistani dramas.
