Kaya began her performing debut in 2006 with the television series Genco. She portrayed the role of zge (Gülay Erkaya). She appeared in the fantasy series Acemi Cad, the Turkish adaptation of “Sabrina Teenage Witch,” and the famous series Sla, “Taşlarn Srr.”In 2008, Kaya portrayed Nihal Ziyagil in a modern-day version of Halit Ziya Uşaklgil’s book Aşk- Memnu.
